2 town houses with later shops. Mid C19. Stucco on studwork with end panelled pilasters over 1st-floor quoin strips; moulded 2nd-floor sill string with sill brackets; moulded architraves to No.10 (right) and modillions to moulded eaves cornice; asbestos slate roof. Deep-plan with deep wings flanking a narrow carriageway with workshops behind No.8 and offices and warehouse behind No.10. 3 storeys, 4-window range to 2nd floor over 3 windows to 1st floor. Mid C19 hornless sashes with large panes: under segmental arches to 2nd floor; 1st floor with pilastered tripartite window with consoles to central triangular pediment broken forward from moulded entablature; flanking canted oriels with pilasters to angle boxes and similar entablature. Ground floor has panelled end pilaster on right and blind basket-arched overlight to ope (passage) right of centre; full-width sloping fascia over mid C20 double shop front to No.8 and C20 altered canted shop front with doorway on its left to No.10. INTERIOR of shops altered C20, otherwise not inspected.
