Town house. Early/mid C19. Stucco on probable rubble with moulded plinth fluted over enriched panelled end pilasters, egg and dart enriched moulded architraves with fleur-de-lis keyblocks, ground-floor sill brackets, carved 1st-floor sill string and moulded eaves cornice under projecting eaves with panelled soffit; grouted scantle slate hipped roof with brick stack on left, rendered axial stack towards right; cast-iron ogee gutters with relief decoration. Double-depth plan. 2 storeys; regular 3-window front. Original 12-pane hornless sashes; enriched panelled pilastered doorway with carved consoles and moulded and crested hood and carved frieze over name plaque, central to window on left. 3-bay right-hand return has blind windows on left; central round-arched stair window with coloured margin panes over 12-pane sash and similar sash over doorway at far right, similar to front doorway except with keyblock. Other elevations also complete and with similar details. INTERIOR: not inspected but likely to retain original features reflecting the high quality of the exterior. A richly detailed front, making a significant contribution to an exceptionally fine street.
