Pair of semi-detached cottages. Late C18 or early C19. Timber-framed and rendered with thatched gabled roof. One storey with attics and central ridge stack and each cottage has C20 gambrel plain tiled roofed extensions on its flank. No.46 has one eye-brow dormer window with C19 2-light casement with single horizontal glazing bar. Ground floor has a similar window and catslide thatched roofed porch. No.46 has 2 eyebrow dormers each with a C20 2-light casement. Ground floor has a similar window and larger catslide porch. Pair of similar cottages with inglenooks and oven door opening. Chamfered spine beams and partitions with curved bracing interrupting studs (exposed with infill removed in No.48). Short principal rafters linked by collars with superimposed purlins and short jack rafters above.
