Shop, formerly house and shop. Late C14, altered early C15 and C20. Plastered and colourwashed timber-frame. Plain tile and concrete corrugated tile roofs. Late C14 range parallel to road at right with early C15 range added gable-end on to road left over a square-headed carriage entrance. 2 storeys and attic. To right of carriage entrance is a late C19 plate-glass shopfront, rather altered C20. Carriage arch leads to close studded passage with inserted late C20 display window. Over passage is jettied gable with 2 consoles lit through a late C18 3-light casement with leaded glazing. Gabled roof. Range to right, (parallel to road), also with jettied first floor, the jetty obscured by C20 fasic board. One 4/8 sash. Gabled roof with plain tiles. Sloping dormer to extreme right. INTERIOR. Boxed bridging beams to shop. Frame has tension braces at first floor. Roof of north-south block with 2 early C15 octagonal crown posts. Posts with splayed feet and tops, the latter with 4 arched braces reaching to crown purlin and collars. Tie beams on arched braces, some missing. Roof of east-west block has one remaining late C14 octagonal crown post with moulded capital and 2 cranked braces to collar. 2 further braces once linked with missing crown purlin. Junction of the 2 blocks has exterior plaster to once free-standing east-west block.
