GV II
House, now house and shop. Probably late C16, refronted early
C19. Timber-framed with red brick front with gault brick
zig-zag vertical patterning. Plain tile roof. Baffle entry
plan. 2 storeys in 5 irregular bays. 4-panelled door to No.35
left of centre. Timber doorcase with hood on brackets and
overlight. To left are two 8/8 sashes without horns under
gauged skewback arches. One similar window to right. Four 4/8
sashes to first floor. No.37 with C20 Fletton brick ground
floor and a metal display window. One 3-light C20 metal
casement. Bell-based gabled roof with a ridge stack left of
centre. INTERIOR. Ground floor of No.37 has chamfered bridging
beam.
