Shop, formerly 2 shops and flats. c1600, somewhat altered late C19 and C20. Timber-framed, roughcast and colourwashed. Plain tile roof. East-west 2-storey range with a first-floor gabled element jettied out at west end. Attached to west gable is a later single-storey extension. Rear with C20 brick outshut. Facade has a C20 display window and door under the jettied part. Bressumer supported on 5 arched braces. One 2-light C20 casement in first floor. Remainder of facade to right comprises two C20 casements to ground floor and a late C19 shopfront and door at the east end. This shopfront augmented by a C20 extension diagonally across the east return. First floor with 2 late C19 canted bays with casements and a C20 casement left of them. Gabled roof with stack on rear slope. INTERIOR. Ground floor with sunk quadrant-moulded spine beam with 2 wide fillets to soffit. Jowled principal studs. Tie beams formerly on straight braces. Cross-gabled western element with tie beams on knuckle braces. Roof boarded and plastered.
