GV II

Terraced houses with shops. C 1830. Yellow brick laid in Flemish bond, painted on no 6, roof obscured by parapet. Three storeys over basement, two windows each. Ground floors altered to shops in C19; bracketed fascia stops of varying design survive generally. No 6 has C19 shop front in part, with fascia; no 10 has separate shop and house entrances and a shop front possibly generally of C19 date; no 12 has the remains of a shop front in the form of right-hand pilaster and fascia, but the shop front has been returned to a house front; it also has a flat-arched entrance with overlight, cornice and panelled door of original design. Upper windows flat-arched with gauged brick heads, those to no 10 possibly rebuilt; each first-floor window set back under a round arch of gauged brick, also possibly rebuilt on no 10; sashes of original design to upper floors of no 4, first floor of no 6, and first-floor right of no 12; parapet; stacks to party walls.
