Eleven terraced houses. 1828-1829. William Chadwell Mylne, Surveyor for the New River Estate. Yellow stock brick set in Flemish bond with banded stucco ground-floor to nos. 76-78 & 90 and stucco dressings; roofs obscured, party-wall brick stacks. Side-hall entrance plan. Three storeys except no. 76 (four storeys) with basement; 2 windows each; no. 90 with one-storey stucco portico extension. Steps rise to round-arched (except nos. 70-72) entrance: architraved doorway to nos 76-82 & 88-90 and nos. 76-80 with fluted column jambs; no. 74 with 1/4 columns and remainder with pilaster jambs. Elaborate and original corniced-head to nos. 76-90, fanlight (nos. 76-84 patterned) and original panelled door to nos. 88-90. 6/6 sashes to ground-floors: round-arched sashes to nos. 74-88 set in recess. Nos. 70-72 have been altered to shopfronts: no. 70 with wooden shopfront with entablature, projecting cornice and large-paned shop windows; no. 72 with altered late C19 shopfront. Gauged-brick flat arches with 6/6 sashes to upper floors; 1st floor stucco sill band beneath full-length sashes set in arched brick recesses linked by stucco impost banding with individual cast-iron balconies (except nos. 70-72) with spiderweb pattern to railings. Some rebuilding to upper floors. Plain brick parapet with stone coping. Attached cast-iron railings with urn finials.
