ST3614 NORTH STREET 1939-1/7/87 (West side) 29/07/76 Coach house to No.7 and associated gate piers and brick wall to rear (Formerly Listed as: NORTH STREET (West side) Outbuilding with attached gate piers adjoining No.19)
GV II
Coach house. Early C18. Limestone rubble with Ham Hill stone dressings and stepped stone coping to a single-pitch slate roof. 2 storeys; one-window range to gable end facing street. The roof slopes down to the left with an urn to the shouldered coping. A square opening to first-floor centre has rough sill, jambs and lintel to a plain planked door. The ground floor has C20 garage doors to the right and a wide planked door to the left with an overlight of 2 rows of 5 square panes. Attached to the right is one of a pair of Ham Hill stone gate piers to the rear entrance of The Vicarage, Court Barton (qv); each with a simple cornice and cap. Attached to the rear left (south-west) corner is a high C18 Flemish-bond brick wall approx 30m long, which connects the coach house to the rear wing of No.9 North Street (qv).
