GV II
Two houses. C17 origins, much rebuilt c 1810. with some later reconstruction. Brick with ashlar dressings; parapeted roof. Double-depth plan. Georgian style. 3 storeys; 5-window range. Plain coped brick parapet. Central entrance has doorcase with pilasters, panelled frieze and bracketed cornice to 6-panel half-glazed door; right end entrance, probably originally window, has rubbed brick flat arch with key , overlight to 6-panel door. Windows have sills, and rubbed brick flat arches with keys over 12-pane horned sashes, those to 2nd floor over 6-pane horned sashes, but right end 1st floor window has 8-pane and that above has 4-pane horned sash. Ground floor windows to left of entrance are 1985 replacement for C20 shop front. INTERIOR: some chamfered beams to front centre and right end. (Wilkinson R: Look at Lichfield: Lichfield: 1976-).
