Villa. c1845, alterations to attic and basement mid-late C20. Stucco over brick, hipped slate roof, cyma-shaped brackets to eaves cornice, rendered stacks rising from eaves on returns. Double-pile plan. Two storeys plus attic over basement, 3 bays; inserted central flat roofed dormer, first floor 12-pane sash windows in lugged surrounds, cast-iron window box guards, ground floor canted bays with shallow stuccoed hoods, moulded cornice and projecting canopies, original cast-iron balconies and 12-pane sash windows with 4-pane sidelights, central flat-roofed Doric porch surmounted by the figure of a recumbent lion; door of 6 raised and fielded panels. Garage inserted in basement to right. Rendered dwarf wall with C20 railings, square piers.
