GV II
House, now auction room and flat. Late C18/early C19 with late mediaeval origins. Coursed squared limestone rubble; Welsh slate roof; brick right-end stack shared with No.27 Gloucester Street (qv). Very large C20 full-width extension to rear is now auction room/gallery; offices and flat in front range. To front, 2-storey 3-window range. Three C19 two-light timber casements with stone cills to first floor; two C19 2/2-pane horned sashes with stone cills to ground floor. Pair of half-glazed C20 doors to right; C20 six-panel door deeply recessed to left. INTERIOR has undergone major C20 alteration; 3-bay butt-purlin roof with heavy smoke-blackened principals possibly C15 or C16 also altered but retains ridge plate and some early rafters; collars now removed.
