Shop with storage over. Late C17/early C18. Coursed squared
limestone; Welsh slate roof; no visible stack to front.
3-storey 4-window range. First floor has four 2-light stone
mullion-and-transom windows with C19 iron casements; 4 similar
windows to second floor. Ground floor has C20 timber
shopfront. Moulded string over first floor windows; moulded
timber fascia board at eaves. Large single-storey extension to
rear extends to late C20 two-storey office building. INTERIOR
has late C17/early C18 scissor-string staircase with turned
balusters and incised mouldings on newels and strings from
ground to second floor. Second floor has remains of timber
fireplace with mid C18 cornice in front left; 3- and 4-panel
doors; early floorboards; plastered beam with big chamfer and
run-out stop with broad notch in front right; plastered beam
with run-out stop in back left. Lower floors have rough
exposed beams or boxed-out beams probably plastered
originally; first floor front has beam with small chamfers and
run-out stops.
