8/49 Providence Chapel
GV II
Chapel. Dated 1827, renovated 1896. Ashlar, purple slate roof. 2 bays. Plinth. Entrance in west gable: double board doors in projecting stone surround with tie stones. Above it a stone plaque with moulded surround and inscription 'PROVIDENCE CHAPEL 1827'. 2 rectangular recesses above in imitation of windows with large lintels and projecting sills. Gable coping and projecting band at eaves line; cylindrical chimney shaft with crenellated top. Rear: 2 windows with C20 frames, blind windows above. Similar fenestration to left and right returns.
