Former house c1720-40. Flemish-bond brick, stone dentilled eaves cornice, quoins and architraves; double Roman clay tile roof with brick stack to right. L-shaped plan, rear wing to the right. 3 storeys; 6-window range. Thick glazing bars to 6/6-pane sash windows under flat arches to the second floor and segmental arches to the first floor; the 5 ranges to the left, between the quoins, have moulded architraves with keystones and bracketed cills to the second floor. The eaves cornice and range beyond right-hand quoin set slightly back, the windows, without architraves but a keystone to first floor, have forward frames. C20 shopfronts to the ground floor. The rear has late C19 gable and C18 brick wall to the side, heightened in the late C19.
