2. 18th century faced with early 19th century brickwork. 3 storeys. Suffolk yellow brick. 3 windows, sash with glazing bars and flat arches. Ogee bracket cornice with plain course above. Slate roof, hipped. Shop front, ground floor with wood case. Interior: 1st floor panelled room: 2nd floor Regency fireplace. Part of very important group with King's Head Hotel and "Wine Shop". Newmarket forms a most important central group including the buildings around and in the "island".
