2. 18th century with alterations. Bank since 1820. 3 storey. Probably stone with added stucco. Heavy bracket cornice. Pantile roof, hipped. 7 windows, sash, without glazing bars. Good entrances, central in mutular Doric cases with triglyphs. Ground floor windows altered to arched windows with 19th century stucco cases. Interior: residence retains some early 18th century features.
Lloyds Bank and premises adjoining to North and South form a group with Nos 1 and 3 Newmarket.
