2. Said to be 16th century with 17th, 18th and 19th century alterations and additions. 2 storeys and attic. Entrance front reconstructed in red brick with 17th century Dutch gable, and rusticated jambs to windows with segmental drip mould over, either in replacement or extension of some original work of the same period which exists. Roof partly slated, partly tiled, nearly all renewed. 18th century 6-panel entrance door with porch with square columns. 16th century oak stair from the lst floor upwards, and fine Adam mantel. The building stands on the main road from Lowestoft to Beccles.
