Details

LYDNEY CHURCH ROAD SO 60 SW (east side) 7/79 Monument to JAMES WADE in the churchyard c3.5m south of south window in chancel of church of St Mary - II Chest tomb. Late C18. Sandstone. A short tomb with inset corners, flat top with moulded edge, simple panels and moulded base. Inscription on south side to James Wade, 1778. The tomb sunk partly into ground at time of survey, September 1983.
