Details

LYDNEY CHURCH ROAD SO 60 SW (east side) 7/88 Monument to --- TERRETT in the churchyard c2.75m east of the north-east corner of the chancel of the church of St Mary GV II Chest tomb. Late C18. Sandstone. A lofty chest with flat top to moulded edge, flat inscription panels and a moulded base, set on a 2-stepped platform. Inscriptions worn, but includes date 1800 on north side, and on the south --- TERRETT of NASS Farm, 1937. This is the northernmost of a group of five tombs lying immediately east of the chancel wall.
