5/96 Mill Cottage and Mill House
- II
Former millers house. Mid C17. Timber framed and plastered with peg tile roof and half hips with gablets at each end. Off-centre ridge line stack and small stack towards west end. Front has 4 double hung sash windows over 3 similar windows and 2 front doors each with early C19 flat hoods and 6 panel doors. The eastern of these is in the original baffle entry position. 2 storey gabled pegtile roofed parallel extension at rear and C20 addition at west end. Posts are jowled with cross wall bracing and much reused timber.
