Pair of semi-detached houses. Early C19. Coursed, squared magnesian limestone, Welsh slate roof. 2 storeys, 4 bays; reflected pair. No 227 on right: panelled double-door and fanlight with radial glazing bars in ashlar surround with raised keystone; to right of door is a 2-storey bow window having projecting sill to three 12-pane sashes on each floor and flat roof; above door is a sash with glazing bars having projecting stone sill and flat arch. No 225 is handed and has 6-panel single-leaf door, Hipped roof with yellow-brick ridge stack on left and rendered ridge stack on right.
