GV II

House. Early C17, with C19 alterations. Squared, coursed limestone with quoins. Slate roof, lowered C19, with coped gable. Brick ridge and end stacks. 2 storeys; 4-window range. L-shaped plan. To left side of wing an old plank door with wood lintel. To left and right of door to both floors a C19 two-light leaded casement with old glass. To ground and first floor far right an ovolo-moulded 2-light mullioned window with hood mould and label stops. Main facade has a 4-light, ovolo-moulded mullioned window with king mullion to ground floors left and right, with, between, a straight-chamfered 2-light mullioned window, with wood lintel, in place of original door, the quoins of which are still visible. To first floor- left a 3-light ovolo-moulded mullioned window, with a 2-light ovolo-mullioned window to centre and right. Gable end has a canted bay with ovolo-moulded mullioned windows. 3-light, ovolo-moulded mullioned window above. All windows have hood moulds and label stops, and C19 catches. Interior: one stone 4-centred-arched moulded fireplace. Large open fireplace with timber bressumer and large oven to right, alongside fireplace. Room with stone fireplace has ovolo-moulded spine beams. Further chamfered beams. Stone flagged floors.
