GV II

House. C16 and late C17. Cruck-framed limestone ashlar with plinth and coped gables. Slate roof with brick internal stack and ashlar end stack with brick flues. 2 storeys and attic; 2-window range. L-shaped plan with Cib wing to rear left. To left and right a 3-light mullioned window with hood mould and label stops. To first floor left a 2-light mullioned window. Right gable end has a 3-light mullioned window. Further 3-light mullioned window to first floor. Also to first floor a 2-light mullioned window. To attic storey a 2-light mullioned window with an oeil-de-boeuf light above. All windows have hood moulds and label stops. Earlier range to rear has plank door within 4-centred chamfered surround. To right a 4-light mullioned window with king mullion. Left gable end has a 4-light mullioned window with king mullion, and 3-light mullioned window. light, ovolo-moulded, wood mullioned window above door. Interior: in C16 range a pair of crucks raised approximately in, from ground. Arched braced collar in roof. Windbraces. Timber and plaster panelling. To ground floor a large open fireplace, and hollow chamfered and moulded spine beams. Stone flagged floors. Wood spiral staircase. In late C17 range an ovolo-moulded spine beam. Some old plank doors.
