Includes Nos. 8 to 12 (consec) The Causeway. 9 houses.1913. By J.Lomax Simpson. Brick with stone dressings,some roughcast, hipped tile roofs. 2 storeys, 6 bays, 2nd and 5th bays project under gables, end bay gabled. Gabled bays have random stone quoins and brick coping, end bay diapered. 3rd and 4th bays have roughcast 1st floor jettied on brackets, and deep bracketed eaves. Windows have small-paned casements, those to gabled bays segmental headed; those to end 2 bays have diamond panes. Ground floor has 4:5:5:4-light window, with 4-light canted bay window to end bay. 1st floor has 4-light and 2nd bay 3-light window. Entrances have plank doors with small-paned lights, that to 1st bay in lean-to porch. 3 cross-axial stacks. Facade to The Causeway similar, with paired gable bays with projecting stacks, the bays between have 1st floor paired projecting windows with panel between dated 1913. Cross-axial stack. Rear similar.
