Warehouses in Italian Gothic style. Circa 1870. Ashlar. Hipped slate roof. 3 storeys. No. 40 is of 10 bays, 6 of which curve round corner. No. 32 of 3 bays. Doorway only remains of No. 34. Framed and separated by massive, nook shafted piers whose heavy foliated capitals support heavy consoled cornice with blocking course with dies over piers. Cambered heads to ground floor windows. Round arched heads to 1st and 2nd floor windows, all with gothic hood mould and alternately coloured voussoirs. Large sculptured roundels on piers on ground floor level and in tympana of ground floor windows, one with squirrel, others with flowers and foliage. Between 2nd floor windows are angled shafts ending in grotesque beasts. Panelled doors with flat lintel and lobed relieving arch over.
Across the front of the buildings are 11 squat piers with segmental pedimented heads, with some Gothic ironwork surviving.
At the time of survey roof to No. 40 was missing.
