Pair of cottages. Mid to late C17. Dressed limestone, tiled roof including bands of fish-scale tiling, brick stacks and coped verges. Two-storey 4-window. No 1 has planked door, No 2 has C20 planked door, 3-light casement to left, two 2-light casements to right. First floor has 3-light hollow-chamfered mullioned casement to left, blocked 2-light mullioned casement and 2-light and 3-light hollow-chamfered mullioned casement to right, all casements on first floor are leaded. Left return has 2-light casement to attic. Rear has gabled wing to No 1 with casements, No 2 has lean-to extension with casements. Interior of No 1 has open fireplace with chamfered lintel on stone jambs, chamfered beams, stairs with stick balusters. Interior of No 2 not inspected. The White Horse Inn during the C18. (N.
