Farmhouse. C17 with late C18/early C19 and C20 alterations and additions. Timber framed with brick infill on coursed lias plinth, and brick. Old tile roof with 4 brick ridge stacks and one external stack in centre of lias with with square brick shafts. L-plan. Main front to garden. One storey and attic with 2-, 3-window range with one-window gabled wing on right. Early C20 ribbed door and brick porch in re-entrant angle with catslide roof from wing across lobby with catslide roof in opposite direction Second entrance on left has 6-panelled door in moulded surround. C19 and some C20 casements Left section slightly higher, with separate roof. End wall rebuilt but retains jowled posts. Wing has 3 closely set windows on ground floor, separated by framing. Left wall of brick. Front to road has some exposed framing throughout, with plastered infill. Interior: Some exposed framing, and evidence of existence of open fireplaces. Late C18/early C19 quarter turn staircase. Mid C20 single storey addition to front to road.
