GV II
School. Dated 1842. Punch-dressed stone, ashlar dressings, Welsh blue-slate roof. Single storey. 5 bays. Plinth, channelled quoin pilasters to angle of main range with gabled wing breaking forward occupying 4th and 5th bays. Second bay has main feature of lateral external belfry: has rusticated quoins and offsets; 2-centred arched window of 2 orders and date plaque above inscribed:
"This school for Girls and Infants was built by Subscription A:D. MDCCCXLII Jesus saith feed my lambs. John XXI.15".
Coped gable with arched belfry opening to apex. To either side, square double- chamfered windows. Wing breaks forward and has rusticated quoins, doorway with inner recess and plain eared architrave to left of square window. Circular window to apex of coped gable with kneelers.
