II
Rectory, now private detached house. Late C17, C18 and 1802 wing by T. Prangley of Heytesbury. Rubble stone, Welsh slate roofs, hipped to C19 range, brick stacks. Two parallel ranges with rear wings. 2-storey, 4-window front; sashes. Central C19 porch on gable end of C17 range has margin-pane glazed door and window, two 16-pane sashes to ground floor right and one large 15-pane sash to left on C19 range. First floor has 12-pane sash to C19 range, two 16-pane sashes and one 12-pane sash to right. C17 range has steeply pitched roof with coped verges. Left return has three large 15-pane sashes to ground floor and three 12-pane sashes to first floor of 1802 range, all in plain ashlar cases; shallow pitched hipped roof. Right return has 12-pane sashes to C18 ranges. Interior not accessible at time of survey (July 1985). (Diocesan Records, Trowbridge.)
