TAYNTON SP2313 10/165 Church of St. John, group of 5 chest tombs approx. 18m S of S aisle GV II Five chest tombs. Chest tomb to Ann and John Newman. Circa 1790. Stone. Shaped base. Inscribed panel to each side having rococo scrolls to top. Oval panels to each end. Stepped top with shaped bale top. Four chest tombs; circa 1790. Stone. Rectangular. All have stone inscribed panels, and some have decorative carved oetaile.
