House, now bank and dwelling. C16 and C17 (VCH), refronted and heightened mid/late C19. Timber framed with lath and plaster and brick infill; front plastered. Slate roof with tile roofs to rear; brick stacks. L-plan. 3 storeys; 3-window range. Ground floor has late C20 doors, windows and brickwork. Upper floors have 6-pane sashes an first floor with rusticated rendered flat arches with keyblocks. Left return side, under carriage arch, has exposed close studding. To rear gabled timber-framed wing with close studding and heavy diagonal brace; underbuilt in whitewashed brick. C17 timber framed wing with
brick infill; end part rebuilt in C19/C20 brick. C19 and C20 casements. Interior: Exposed framing. Some chamfered and moulded ceiling beams. Full interior inspection not possible. Said to have open fireplace.
