GV II
Anglican parish church. By C E Ponting, 1882. Rock-faced coursed limestone
with yellow ashlar dressings, plain-tiled roof. Nave, chancel, bell-cote,
north porch, south vestry. Nave south side has four 2-light segmental-headed
flush set chamfer surround windows; vestry with shouldered arch to door; stone
stack with offset and broached to round capping. At junction nave and chancel a
timber-framed bell-cote with gablets to east and west and tile-clad base. Iron
decorative cross to east gable. To chancel 3 flush lancets and paired lancet to
north side; plinth course to apse only. North side of nave as south, but also
timber-framed porch with glazed sides. Single offset buttress left of nave.
Original iron hopper-heads and down pipes. A modest building with tight budget.
