SP30NW LEW 3/237 The Thatched Cottage
II Cottage. Late C18. Whitewashed render over rubble limestone; thatched roof; flanking brick chimneys. One storey and attic, 2 small bays. Left bay has wooden single light below eaves, board door, and horizontal sliding sash in gable end. Right bay has old 2-light wood and metal casements, the upper window in thatch. Small single-storey extension to right end, with corrugated iron roof. Interior has stair on axis with stack in right bay. Also known as Lew Hill Cottage.
