Details
SU 6415 HAMBLEDON EAST STREET, (south side) 16/59 The Court House 6.3.67 GV II House. C18, with early and mid Cl9 extensions. Front wall of painted brickwork in headers, with rubbed flat arches, extended at the east side in Flemish bond: recessed west wing of stucco. Tile roof, separate and hipped to the wing. The old part has a symmetrical north front elevation of two storeys three windows, with east side extension of one window: the wing is recessed twice, of two storeys, 2.1 windows. Sashes, French windows in the wing. Early C19 porch of a simple Order, with two pilasters and two columns, and 7-panelled (3 top glazed) door. Lead fire insurance sign. Mid C19 stable building set back at the east side, behind a high front wall of flint.
