House. Late C17 with later alterations. Rubble, pantile roof with stone
slates at eaves. 3 storeys, 3 first-floor windows. Between second and
third windows, 6-panel door in early C18 doorcase with Tuscan half-columns,
Ionic entablature and cornice. On ground floor, large sash windows with
glazing bars, 2 to left of door, 1 to right, the first with concrete lintel,
the second and third with ashlar flat arches. First floor: sash windows
with glazing bars and projecting sills, the third with ashlar flat arch.
Between first and second, blocked 2-light chamfered mullioned window.
Second floor: 4 small windows with chamfered ashlar surrounds. Shaped
kneelers, ashlar coping. Ridge stack to left of door and at right end.
Right return: chamfered single-light window in gable. The surrounds of
several blocked 2-light mullion windows, apparently randomly arranged, have
been exposed by the removal of roughcast. A C17 rusticated doorway has been
removed from the left end of the ground floor since the last listing.
