AUSTWICK HIGH STREET SD 76 NE (south side) 8/21 Moughton Cottage GV II Cottage. Late C17 with C18, C19 and C20 alterations. Slobbered rubble, painted stone dressings, slate roof. Central staircase plan. Gable end to street. 2- storeys, double fronted. Mid C20 trellis wood porch to central entrance; plain surround 6 panel door, upper 2 glazed. Left and right-hand ground floor windows are 2-light double chamfered with recessed flat faced mullions; casements to left, sashes without glazing bars to right. Two 2-light upper floor windows have plain surrounds and recessed wooden mullions; sashes without glazing bars. Left-hand ridge and right-hand gable-end ridge stacks. Included for group value.
