Cottage, house, and farmbuilding, now forge. Early-mid C19. Rubble, stone slate roofs. 2 storeys, 2:3:2 bays. Grange Cottage, to left: quoins to left; central 4-panel door in ashlar surround with base blocks, interrupted jambs and rounded inner corners to lintel; to left, 1 bay of sash windows with glazing bars in ashlar surrounds; to right, round-arched 12-pane landing window with radial glazing bars in ashlar surround with imposts and keystone. The Grange: central part-glazed 4-panel door in ashlar surround with base blocks. Sash windows with glazing bars in ashlar surrounds except for 4-pane sash window over door. Shaped kneeler and ashlar coping to right. Stacks at ends overall and between second and third bays. Farmbuilding to right: of 2 lower storeys; on ground floor, board door and 4-pane sash window; on first floor, board pitching door, the external steps to which have been removed, and 8-pane sash window. Single-storey garage to left of Grange Cottage not of special interest.
