House, now pair of cottages. C17, encased C18, altered C20. Timber-frame core encased in brick and part tile-hung C20, thatch and tile roof. 3 bay timber-frame encased in brick and divided into 2 with right bay being separate. Tall 1-storey bay added to this end and single storey bay added to left end C20. 4 bay, ½ storey. Door to left cottage at inner end of right bay and to right cottage at end of older bay, both with C20 weatherboarded porches. 2 segmental headed casements in left cottage and a 2 and 3-light casement in right cottage. 4 2-light eyebrow dormer, 2 in each cottage. Roof of original part thatched and half-hipped to left. Ridge stacks above left door and at right end of thatch. Roof of right bay tiled. Owned by National Trust.
