13/148 Former Non-Conformist Chapel
G.V. II
Non-conformist chapel (Congregational), now part of a printing works. Dated
"1848". Coursed rubble with freestone dressings; slate roof with coped raised
verges. In a lancet style. 4 bays: lancet windows under hood moulds with
carved stops; buttresses with off-sets between the windows and at the ends.
Gabled projecting porch on east gable end: angle buttresses and pointed arch
doorway. Trefoil window in gable above. The interior has now been sub-
divided for industrial premises.
