SHERBORNE SHERBORNE VILLAGE SP 1714 9/223 Nos 63 and 64 2.8.83 GV II

Pair of estate cottages. Early C19. Coursed squared and dressed limestone. Stone slate roof. Ashlar stacks, two restored C20. Rectangular plan. C20 lean-to at rear not of special interest. 1 1/2 storeys. Symmetrical facade to each cottage. Four half dormers with 2-light stone-mullioned casements to first floor. Four 2-light stone-mullioned casements to ground floor. C20 part- glazed doors centrally to each cottage. Gable-end and axial stacks set on plinths. Flat coping at gable ends and to dormers. Moulded kneelers. Interiors not inspected. (Property of the National Trust).
