1/230 Poole monument about 20 yards east of the east end of the Chancel of the Church of SS Phillip and James
GV II
Pedestal tomb for John Poole, died 1830. Finely cut sandstone. Roll mould- ings to base and corners, deeply projecting cornice, stepped capping and urn finial; oval inscription panels. This monument forms a group with the nearby Godsall (qv) pedestal tomb which is contemporary and probably by the same hand.
