TARSET THORNEYBURN NY 78 NE 31/95 Stable and coach house c.30 yards north-west of Thorneyburn Rectory GV II
Stable and coach house with granary over. 1818 for the Commissioners of Greenwich Hospital. Random rubble with ashlar dressings and graduated Lakeland slate roof. Two storeys, 4 irregular bays. Almost central high segmental carriage arch with boarded double doors. Stable to left with boarded door and 6-pane casement. Boarded double doors to cartshed on right. On 1st floor two shuttered windows and one casement. Gabled roof with flat coping.
On right return stone steps to granary.
