Former barn about 35 yards east of former Poolend Farmhouse
(Formerly listed as Barn about 35 yards east of Poolend Farmhouse)

Former Barn. Probably late C17 to early C18. Timber-frame, sandstone rubble and brick infill with weatherboards and tiled roof. Four bays aligned north-east/south-west with full-height entry in second bay from left and ledged door to extreme left. Frame is four panels high from cill to wall-plate. Corrugated roofed brick lean-to right of entry.
Interior: raking struts from ties to principals. Forms part of the farm complex to former Poolend Farmhouse (qv). (RCHM Vol II, p 155).
