5/183 Tudor Cottage



Semi-detached cottage. C17. Coursed squared and dressed limestone and square-panelled timber framing with tension bracing; stone slate roof with ashlar stacks. Rectangular plan with C20 extension in keeping, to the rear. l½ storeys. Flat-chamfered plinth to stone-built part: 2-light double-chamfered stone-mullioned casement with stopped hood to the ground floor; 3-light double- chamfered stone-mullioned casement with stopped hood to Cotswold dormer above. Plank door with fillets set back within a 3-centred arched surround with enriched spandrels and stopped hood, lower left. Timber-framed part to the left with one 2 and one 3-light wooden casement and leaded panes to the ground floor of the timber- framed part; 3-light dormer above. Twin axial and gable-end stack. Flat coping and pointed finial to the Cotswold dormer. Interior not inspected.
