Cottage. Late C17 - early C18. Timber-framed, partly underbuilt with painted brick to mid-rail, tiled roof. Single cell with gable entry and large external stack to east and later brick outshut to north, later larger brick additions to west. Single storey with attic, one 2-light wooden casement to south, one case- ment in gable, simple plank door to right of stack in outshut. Framing: originally 3 panels high from sill to wall-plate, straight brace from mid-rail to wall-plate; short brace from post to tie-beam in gable; timber weathering above windows.
