WOKINGHAM THE TERRACE SU 8068 NE (North side) Shute. End 17/28 Nos. 29 and 31 (formerly 12.11.51 listed as Nos. 27 and 29). G.V. II Pair of houses. Late C18. Brick, hipped slate roof. Central staircase plan. 2 storeys; cellar and attic to No.31. Flanking chimneys with clay pots. Painted string at first floor level. 3 bay symmetrical front. Outer bays sash windows with glazing bars, left second floor window C20 2-light casement. Gauged brick heads. Pair central 6-panelled entrance doors under segmental arch, divided in centre. Both doors have reeded architrave with angle blocks. B.0.E. (Berkshire) p.309.
