GV II

Detached cottage, formerly 2 cottages. Probably C18. Plastered cob walls,
thatched roof, half hipped at left end, one brick stack at right end, one
right of door. Left section of 2 storeys, right section of one storey and
attic. At right angles to road. In left section, ledged door in rustic
thatched porch. Ground floor has one casement with centre horizontal bar and
two C20 casements. First floor has 3 casements, one with horizontal glazing
bars, one with centre horizontal bar. In right section, a second rustic
thatched porch, - the doorway now blocked. Ground floor has one C20 casement,
attic has one half dormer with casements with lead lights. Slate roofed
lean-to at right end. At left end, a C20 rear extension, with double Roman
tiled roof, including garage. Internally, main ground floor room has large
open fireplace with timber lintel. Some exposed ceiling beams. Original roof
structure appears intact.
