16/199 Nos 1 and 2 Manor Drive Cottages

GV II

Pair of semi-detached but not identical cottages. Probably C18. Plastered cob walls, part on colourwashed rubble stone base. Thatched roofs. Part 2-storeyed, part single storeyed - roofs at varying levels. At left end, a brick section, with thatched roof, has one metal casement. Small lean-to at front of this, with tiled roof. Right of this the main range, at higher level, with brick stacks each end. In this, No. 1 has a C20 glazed door and No. 2 a single panel door. Ground floor has 2 C20 metal casements and one C18 casement with lead lights. First floor has 4 C20 metal casements. Right of this a range at lower level has 2 C20 metal casements on each floor. Right of this a single storey range, of brick, with hipped thatched roof - possibly a former outhouse, has flush door.
