Detached cottage with attached former outbuilding. Probably C18. Plastered cob walls, half hipped thatched roof. Brick stacks in each wing. L-shaped plan, with rounded external angle. One storey and attic. In (south) end wall of south wing, ground floor has a canted bay window with hipped tiled roof, and sashes with glazing bars in upper panes. In attic above this a sash with glazing bars. Ledged door at rear - near the external angle. In east wall of south wing, attic has one half dormer with sashes with glazing bars. Other windows mainly C20, with glazing bars. At east end of east wing an attached single storey range with mono-pitch pantile roof. This, a former outbuilding, now incorporated in house. Under repair and alteration at time of survey (May 1986).
